GETTING YOUR DISC TO RUN
Possible Problems & Solutions and General Trouble Shooting Tips
------------------------------------------------------------
If you are having problems getting the "Cyber Photographer" disc
to work, see below. Or call
MacDaddy Consumer Support at (310) 552-4854.
SYSTEM CONFLICTS
------------------------------------------------------------
Many programs use up memory and CPU cycles that may be needed
to run "Cyber Photographer." If you have any
programs which may interrupt game play or use needed memory --
automatic screen savers for example -- you may want to turn
them off before you begin.
MEMORY PROBLEMS
------------------------------------------------------------
Cyber Photographer requires at least 5
megabytes (5,000K) of free memory to run properly. Windows
uses up a great deal of the computer's memory. On a computer
with 8 megabytes total memory, you may need to turn off system
programs in order to free up additional memory.
Be sure Virtual Memory is turned off.
------------------------------------------------------------
UNDOCUMENTED FEATURES
------------------------------------------------------------
The printing program of the disc has a few undocumented features.
First if you hold the SHIFT or OPTION key down while clicking the print
icon, the print setup and print control dialog boxes will appear. This
may be handy for doing multiple copies or selecting paper tray, etc.
If you click slightly above the print icon when print a month, the disc
will print an entire year starting with the current month. Each month
will feature a different snapshot. If you do the same thing (clicking
slightly above the print icon) when printing a card, then the disc will
print the selected card with every snap shot on the light table.
